One of Queenstown's newest attractions on Lake Wakatipu:
The Boat:
As a part of New Zealand's America's Cup history, NZL 14 is an authentic America's Cup yacht, built specifically for New Zealand's 1992 challenge in San Diego.
Her previous skipper was Russell Coutts, who went on to win the America's Cup three times with Team New Zealand in 1995, 2000 and Alinghi in 2003.
The Sailing Experience:
With a rich heritage and tradition dating back to 1851, the America's Cup is the world's oldest sporting trophy and the ultimate prize in yachting.
Previously reserved only for the elite and professional sailors, our authentic America's Cup yacht NZL 14 offers a truly unique opportunity for everyone to experience this New Zealand icon first hand in one of the most stunning locations in the world, Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown.
Kitted out with full safety gear, passengers become crew as grinders are put into action, sails hoisted and this streamlined racing machine kicks into gear and performs as she knows best. Passengers participate at will or can sit back, relax whilst enjoying the ride.
You need to allow 2 hours from dock to dock.
Join the friendly crew on NZL 14 and experience Queenstown as it has never been experienced before!
